Do you want to know how the Leopard got his spots? It is very simple. The Leopard lived in a place called the Desert. Everything was yellow there. The sand, all the stones and rocks were hot. The Giraffe, the Zebra, the Antelope and many other animals also lived there. They were yellow and had no spots. An Ethiopian lived in this desert. He was a yellow man. The Ethiopian and the Leopard hunted together. They always frightened the other animals. After a long time the animals learned to run away from the Leopard and the Ethiopian. The animals ran away and finally they came to a big forest. So they hid among the trees. They stayed in the forest for many days. Many traces from the shadows of the trees appeared on their skins. These traces helped them to hide. When the hunters came to the forest, they had many difficulties.
